How to lose weight
Hi everyone,
My name is
Donald Farell and I have created this website to
help you lose weight. You may have asked yourself,
"Why am I not losing weight despite all my efforts...? Is
it at all possible for me to lose weight or should I just
give up?"
Or you may be asking this
question on behalf of someone else close to you. By making such
inquiries, you have travelled half-way down the path
to solving the problem. It is also possible that you will close
this page and go on with your life…,which is cool. But I
would like to let you know that taking care of weight loss
problems is not as hard as it seems.
This is not a problem unique
to you, so be consoled. Many other persons, especially in
present-day America are asking themselves the very same
question: “How can I lose weight?”, and they are finding
workable answers. This website has been set up to help you do
just that!
Ok, but ... I need to lose
weight right away – How do I start ?
Not afraid of repeating
myself once too often, I'd say again. If
"I need to
lose weight", is a term that crosses your mind a lot,
then it is time to quit 'thinking' and 'act' now!
A lot of people find
themselves faced with obesity, and food - which is
supposed to be friend - would in this case seem to be
an enemy, but there is a way out... there are many ways out
infact, as we will set out to show you on these
pages.

Remember it takes a long time
to put on weight, and so naturally, it will take an equally
long time to put it off, so patience is needed. Be patient with
yourself, be consistent with your weight-loss goals, and I
assure you - you WILL lose weight!
It's all about right proportions,
and meal planning. You need to know how to manage your time
throughout the day so that you are not stuck in the
inevitable I need to
lose weight status, as a result of over-eating.
Generally over-eating comes from being bored! -not keeping an
active-enough lifestyle. Follow my simple steps to learn how to
lose weight, without having to stick to a strict
regime.
Get your act together! Know that
you want to lose weight and get out of
the I need to lose
weight status, into
the LOSE
weight active plan
status.
Step
1 - Set your
self a target weight. For example if you are currently weighing
in at 14 stones, and your ideal weight is 10, then set that as
your target weight. It won't take long until you can start to
lose the weight and physical changes to your appearance become
noticeable. Having target will help you stay
motivated.
Step
2 - Know
that you want to lose the weight, and stick to that state of
mind. The reason that you are overweight is because you don’t
exercise enough, eat too much, and don’t have the proper
portion size, which leads me to the next step.

3 - Make
sure that you throw out all the junk food from your kitchen
cupboards, donate them to the local Salvation Army. You don’t
need to eat packets of crisps, and chocolate bars you just want
to. When cooking boil instead of frying, cut your portion size
down by 25% and MAKE sure that you lay off snacking. Sticking
to 3 meals a day is very much worth the while.
Step
4- Take one hour
a day to exercise, it can be a walk to the shop (not to pick up
food mind you!), just to stroll and buy the daily newspaper,
lottery ticket – anything so long as it keeps you active. If
your local shop is less than a 5 minute walk away, then walk to
one that’s a little further , believe me if I can do it, anyone
can.
Step
5 -
Instances through the day where you would be using the car,
STOP!. Start walking to the places that you need to go to, or
buy a bike to cycle there instead.
Step
6 - In the
event that you do need to resort to using your car to get
around, park it little bit further away from your
destination. That factor alone can be a contributor to
significant amounts of weight loss.

7 – Stay out
of the kitchen after 6pm. Your body needs to digest food
already consumed which if not properly digested, will start to
store fat, instead of shift it.
The same principle applies to skipping meals. I used to skip
breakfast, with the mentality that by doing so I would lose
weight, wrong ! When the body is hungry, it stores fat to
preserve energy levels.
Good luck! remember next time you
find yourself saying, "I need to lose weight", simply
turn that wish to reality, and you will never have
regrets.
